One of the most convenient locations is Pupukea. Sunset Beach, Sharks Cove, Waimea Bay – some of the most popular beaches and surf spots of the North Shore are located close to Pupukea. If you like it a little less country try to find a place close to Haleiwa.

Where to eat on the North Shore?

You can find a lot of Food Trucks, local restaurants and, for people with a small budget, grocery stores in Pupukea and Haleiwa. If you are looking for fresh Poke and Kalua Pork, make sure to swing by the food trucks in Kahuku. Our friend Izy has the best Kalua Pork on the island. You can’t miss him. Just look for the giant Samoan laughing and talking story. Visit the Kahuku Superette for great Poke Bowls.

If you want to stay a little cheaper and don’t mind that you can’t buy alcohol in the stores, Laie might be a good place. Lots of Mormons live in Laie, that’s why you can’t buy alcohol at the stores there. The next store selling alcohol is only about a 5 minute drive away though.
