Barefoot Beach Cafe
Located south of Queen’s Beach, across Kapiolani Park, this is ‘Waikiki’s best beach cafe’ according to Lonely Planet. More of a beachside cafe rather than a ‘bar,’ they have a nice selection of beautifully looking breakfast plates (servings are huge). Grab a French toast, eggs Benedict or waffles and sit close to the water. Live music starts at 5:30pm.

Rumfire Waikiki
Tucked in the center of Waikiki, with unobstructed views of Diamond Head and killer sunsets, Sheraton’s beachside lounge is known for its unique aloha cocktails. They have an impressive selection of rum-based cocktails, I guess hence the name ‘rum’fire! You can chill out and enjoy their oceanfront views with a selection of local beers, too.

Because it is a ‘village,’ this hotels and resort chain is set in a 22 oceanfront acres on Waikiki beach. Hilton Hawaiian Village® Waikiki Beach Resort enjoys a prime location south shore of Oahu featuring some 6 beachfront bars where you can enjoy specialty cocktails and beers. The Hau Tree Cantina is between the Alii and Rainbow Towers and offers a wide selection of beers. Tropics Bar & Grill has live entertainment too.

The Beach Bar at the Moana Surfrider
The Moana Surfrider is the very first and oldest hotel in Waikiki. Built in 1901 it is Waikiki’s old lady. Their Beach Bar has an idyllic oceanfront view, and a courtyard hugged by centuries-old Banyan tree, the Beach Bar is popular for its Mai Tai cocktail and other refreshing tropical beverages. Duke’s Barefoot Bar
One of the top beach cafes and bars in Waikikii is Duke’s Barefoot Bar, located on the ground floor at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach, this bar has it all. Named after the Hawaiian surf legend Duke Kahanamoku, Duke’s is a Waikiki mainstay for both tourists and locals alike. Enjoy watching surfers and beachgoers till sundown as you sip on your 3rd serving of Lava Flow (look for Davy – he makes the best!) If you make it all the way to dessert, don’t forget the Hula Pie – a huge serving of macadamia nut ice cream on chocolate cookie crust, drizzled with hot fudge, topped with toasted macadamia nuts and whipped cream.
