Seasons in Hawaii

Are you planning your first trip to Hawaii? Worried about the weather in Hawaii? Typically, you can find the most rain in December. But, it can also rain a lot in February and March. But there is nothing to worry about! There is no bad time to travel to Hawaii. You can still find a bunch of things to enjoy even when it is a rainy day! Winter in Hawaii

In Hawaii, there are two main seasons: winter and summer. The winter season runs from November to April. There are more rainfalls during these months, with a lot more rain in December or February. See the graph ‘Hawaii Rainfall by Month’ below. 

It is also colder during the winter season in Hawaii. However, you can still expect a lot of sun during these months and warm temperatures. It is usually around 78 degrees during the day. Summer in Hawaii

Summer in Hawaii

The summer lasts from May to October. These months’ temperature is about 85-degree F with a clear, blue sky and hot sunny days. The waves are a lot smaller, and the ocean’s temperature is in the high 70s most of the time. During the summer, it does not rain much. Therefore, if you decide to do a hike in the summer months, it’s far less likely the weather will ruin your plans.
