Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

Dwayne Douglas Johnson, famously known by his stage name “The Rock,” was born on May 2, 1972. The renowned actor, former professional wrestler, producer, businessman, and once footballer is from Hawaii. Hawaiians call the islands “The Rock”. That’s why Dwayne Johnson chose his nickname or alias or whatever you like to call it, THE ROCK. The Rock made it also into our article of “Are Hawaiian Men Attractive?“.

Bruno Mars

Peter Gene Hernandez or popularly known by his professional name Bruno Mars has also announced he is Hawaiian. The singer, record producer, dancer, and multi-instrumentalist is one of the greatest talents in American music. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Bruno Mars didn’t move to America until 2003 solely to pursue his musical career. 

He later signed a musical contract in 2009, and then his musical career skyrocketed. He wrote and released top hits like “billionaire,” “just the way you are,” “grenade,” and “lazy song.”

Barack Obama

A history maker, the 44th president and the first black president of the United States Of America. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and was born on August 4, 1961. 

After graduating in 1983 from Columbia University, he started working as a community organizer in Chicago, and this can be seen as the beginning of his political career. By 1988, he enrolled in Harvard Law, where he was the first black person to head the Harvard Law Review.

After that, he became a civil rights attorney from 1992 – 2004. Turning to elective politics, he represented the 13th district in Illinois from 1997 – 2004 when he decided to run for the US senate. Remember the TV Show Magnum P.I.? The mansion where Higgins and Magnum used to live is located in Waimanalo. Waimanalo is famous for Waimanalo Beach, which was rated the #1 beach in the USA.
