Juicy slow roasted pork, freshly-caught seafood and more

Although Haleiwa may seem like a small and sleepy town it is home to an array of restaurants serving up big flavors. Below we highlight some of our favorite places in Haleiwa to eat and unwind after a long day of hitting the waves:

Kono’s Restaurant

With a line often wrapping out the door, Kono’s Restaurant has become a hot spot for undeniably flavorful, fresh and well-priced comfort food. Kono’s signature product is 12 hour slow roasted pork known for being juicy, tender, and oh, so, flavorful. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Konos’ will certainly serve you up something delicious at any meal. We personally love the Old School Sandwich which features their signature pork, guava bbq sauce, onions, and slaw.

Receiving the 2020 Travel’s Choice Award from Trip Advisor, Kono’s is undoubtedly a can’t-miss dining experience that will leave you with a full stomach and a smile.
