The USS Arizona Memorial

This is the must-see at Pearl Harbor (more than 2 million people visit it annually). It is the resting place of 1,102 sailors and Marines who died on the USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The memorial was established in 1962 administered by the National Park Service and stretches along the sunken hull of the battleship. It is accessible only by Navy-operated shuttle boat. This is a truly intense experience. All visitors should be silent to pay their respects to the fallen.
