How to Get Pearl Harbor Tickets

The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center is a great, historic site that ranks among the top three most heavily-visited tourist destinations in Hawaii. Daily visitation averages about 4 thousand people who come to see what happened at this important moment of American history – when America entered World War II. Some people may get confused while buying Pearl Harbor tickets to visit the USS Arizona Memorial. So in this article, we will explain more in detail how to get Pearl Harbor tickets and why it might be better for you to visit Pearl Harbor on a Tour.

How to Get Pearl Harbor Tickets on Your Own

There is no entry fee for visiting the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, and visitors don’t need a ticket to visit some of the museums. However, The USS Arizona Memorial program requires an advance reservation online at www.recreation.gov. The walk-in first-come-first-served ticket distribution system has been terminated. Therefore, we strongly recommend making the reservation at least 3 weeks in advance online.

Beginning on Monday, May 3, recreation.gov’s primary booking window for USS Arizona Memorial tickets will increase from 1-week in advance to 8-weeks in advance. This means that on May 3 at 3 pm HST, tickets will release for up to 8-weeks (56 days) in the future through June 28. Going forward, new tickets will release on this long-range rolling schedule, one day at a time. The secondary booking window,1-day in advance will remain the same.
