Interested in safe activities in Hawaii after Covid-19? On October 15th, Hawaii’s Pre-travel testing program will begin. Finally, those that have been fantasizing about white sand and turquoise seas can bring their daydreams to fruition.

Our favorite Covid-19 safe activities in Hawaii

Scuba Diving

This is a perfect activity for those wanting to be safe and social distance from people but not from sea turtles, fish and sleeping reef sharks! During a scuba diving excursion, introductory Divers will receive a 1-on-1 session, that will provide basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional, followed by a guided reef tour!

Want to feel safe but still get your blood pumping? Then skydiving is a great activity for you! Tandem skydiving only costs $170 per person and it will also be an experience you never forget. You will surely fall in love with Hawaii as you glide towards the beautiful North Shore of Oahu. Read more about skydiving here

Hawaii is known for it’s picturesque scenery featuring rainforests, volcanoes and breathtaking oceanic views. Experience these epic vistas firsthand with a hike through nature. Hiking is a wonderful and safe activity – it is very easy to distance yourself from others! Our favorite hike is the Lanikai Pillbox Hike. This moderate hike takes less than two hours and offers stunning views of the crystal-blue waters of Lanikai Beach as well as the Mokulua Islands.

Some of our other favorite hikes include Manoa Falls, Koko Head and Diamond Head Crater

Surf Lessons

With over 150 great surf spots in Oahu, Hawaii is the perfect place to ride the waves. New to the sport? No worries, an Oahu surf lesson  will quickly help you! These experienced and professional instructors will have you catching your first wave within 20 minutes!

Biking is a fun and rewarding experience that offers you a workout and is a great alternative to overcrowded public transit! We love renting bikes and cruising around town and along the shore. Want more of a challenge? Rent a mountain a hike and head for the trails! You can traverse through rainforests and even in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park! Checkout if biking along a volcano interests you!

Whether surfing, biking, or hiking we hope you come to Hawaii and enjoy some of these 2020 safe activities! Although these activities take place outdoors remember to always practice social distancing and wear your mask when required!

We at Daniel’s Hawaii are excited to welcome back tourists to the island! We hope to see you soon! Stay safe!
