Pearl Harbor & USS Arizona Operations on December 7
IMPORTANT NOTICE for Thursday, December 7, 2023:
The National Park Service and the United States Navy, with the support of Pacific Historic Parks, will co-host the National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Commemoration. This annual ceremony will be held at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center from 7:50am – 9:00 am. The visitor center will open at 6:00am, and public seating for the ceremony will open at 6:00am.
Please be patient! Pearl Harbor National Park is expected to be crowded.
Bag storage is available at no cost from 5:45 am – 10:00 am at the Bag Storage Facility. Bags are not allowed inside Pearl Harbor National Park. We highly recommend to just bring a small wallet or a credit card.
Will the Boat to the USS Arizona Operate on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day December 7th?
USS Arizona Memorial Programs will resume after the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony at 1:00pm – Meaning the Boat to the USS Arizona will start taking guests over to the memorial. No reservations will be released and all visitors must utilize first-come first-served standby. The USS Arizona Memorial Program will operate every 15-minutes until the last program at 3:30pm. The visitor center will remain open until 5:00pm.
If your main reason to go to Pearl Harbor is to visit the USS Arizona Memorial, we recommend to schedule your visit for another day!
Will my tour with Daniels Hawaii operate on December 7th?
YES. Daniels Hawaii will operate multiple tours on 12/7 on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Our friendly Customer Service will get in touch with you to coordinate your pick up time. You will be able to visit the museums at Pearl Harbor National Park and your experienced Guide will take you into Downtown Honolulu after you Pearl Harbor Visit.
